特に不足時に、政府などから決められた量の食料や物資が配られること。また、何かの供給を制限・管理することも指す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

戦時や非常時によく使われる。'配給券'は配給を受けるための公式なカード。名詞・動詞どちらでも使われる（例：食料を配給する）。
