अंग्रेज़ी में "quarrel" थोड़ा औपचारिक और पुराना शब्द है; आम बोलचाल में "fight" या "argument" ज़्यादा सुना जाता है। प्रचलित वाक्यांश हैं "have a quarrel" या "quarrel with someone"। यह शारीरिक "fight" से हल्का पर असहमति से गंभीर होता है।
