Bir şeyin, özellikle yerin, şiddetle sarsılması veya titremesi; hem deprem hem de korku, heyecan gibi duygusal durumlarda kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Daha çok 'deprem' için bilimsel veya haberlerde kullanılır. Ayrıca 'quake with fear' gibi duygusal anlamlarda da kullanılabilir. Hem isim hem fiil olarak geçer.
