Definition

사분면은 원이나 평면을 네 개의 동일한 부분으로 나눌 때 각 부분을 의미합니다. 지도나 그래프, 도형 등에서 사용됩니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 수학, 과학, 기술 분야에서 사용됩니다. 그래프에서 '첫 번째 사분면'은 x와 y좌표가 모두 양수인 영역입니다. 일상 대화에서는 거의 사용하지 않습니다.
