Definition
‘ছানা’ এমন শিশুকুকুরকে বোঝায়, তবে এটি সিল, শিয়াল বা নেকড়ের বাচ্চাদের জন্যও ব্যবহার হতে পারে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
‘ছানা’ সবচেয়ে বেশি কুকুরের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। ‘puppies’ অর্থেও জনপ্রিয়, তবে ‘ছানা’ আরও বন্ধুসুলভ। অন্য প্রাণির জন্য প্রসঙ্গ স্পষ্ট করতে হয়।
