何かを作ったり、創造したりする人や会社。映画や番組などの制作や、科学ではエネルギーを作り出す生き物（主に植物）も指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

映画や製品の資金や企画に関わる場合は複数形で使います。科学では植物や藻類を指します。「director」は演出を担当、「producer」は企画や資金を管理します。
