「prep」は何かのための準備を意味し、実用的またはカジュアルな場面でよく使われます。イギリスでは宿題や予習、準備クラスの意味でも使われます。

日常会話でよく使われるカジュアルな表現です。「meal prep」「test prep」のように使います。イギリスでは宿題という意味にもなりますが、アメリカではあまりありません。
