여러 가지 중에서 어떤 것 또는 사람을 더 좋아하다, 선택할 때 많이 사용된다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'prefer A', 'prefer A to B', 'prefer to do A rather than do B'와 같이 쓴다. 정중하게 말할 때 'would prefer'를 쓴다. 'more prefer'는 사용하지 않는다.
