يحدث أو يوجد قبل شيء أو شخص آخر؛ يأتي مباشرة قبل في الترتيب أو الوقت.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

'Preceding' كلمة رسمية وتستخدم غالبًا في الكتابة أو السياقات الأكاديمية. تأتي غالبًا مع كلمات مثل 'صفحة'، 'فصل'، 'سنة' أو 'فقرة'. لا تخلطها مع 'previous'، حيث أن 'preceding' تشير غالبًا إلى الشيء الذي يأتي مباشرة قبل.
