'pool'의 복수형. 여러 개의 수영장 또는 작은 고인 물을 의미한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 수영장을 뜻하지만, 작은 고인 물('pools of water')에도 사용됨. 'pool'(당구)는 복수형으로 쓰지 않음. 자주 쓰는 예: 'swimming pools', 'pools of blood', 'pools of light'.
