「pool」の複数形。複数のプール、または水たまりのことを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にプール（swimming pools）を指すが、水たまり ('pools of water') にも使う。ビリヤード（pool）は複数形で使わない。よくあるフレーズ: 'swimming pools', 'pools of blood', 'pools of light'。
