Bitkilerin tohum oluşturabilmesi için ürettiği ince sarı tozdur. Çoğunlukla rüzgar, böcekler veya hayvanlarla taşınır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Bilimsel, tıbbi veya doğa ile ilgili konuşmalarda daha sık kullanılır. Alerjiler hakkında ('pollen allergy'), 'pollen count' gibi ifadelerde geçer. Genellikle sayılamaz; 'bir polen' denmez.
