Definition

استطلاع الرأي هو مسح يُسأل فيه الأشخاص عن آرائهم أو عن كيفية تصويتهم. ويمكن أن يشير أيضاً إلى عملية التصويت نفسها.

تكثر في الأخبار والسياسة. 'poll' تعني غالباً 'استطلاع رأي'. استخدم مع: 'نتائج الاستطلاع'. لا تخلط مع 'pole' (عمود).

The latest poll shows that most people support the plan.
