Definition

البيانو آلة موسيقية كبيرة فيها مفاتيح بيضاء وسوداء تضغط عليها لإصدار الأصوات. يُستخدم لعزف أنواع كثيرة من الموسيقى بمفرده أو مع آلات أخرى.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستعمل عادةً كاسم معدود: 'a piano' و 'the piano'. من التراكيب الشائعة: 'play the piano' و 'piano lessons' و 'piano music' و 'upright piano' و 'grand piano'. لا تقل 'make piano' عند الحديث عن العزف؛ الصحيح هو 'play the piano'.
