চিকিৎসক হলেন মেডিকেল ডিগ্রীধারী পেশাজীবী, যারা রোগ নির্ণয় ও চিকিৎসা দেন, সাধারণত হাসপাতাল বা ক্লিনিকে।

‘চিকিৎসক’ শব্দটি পেশাদার ও অফিসিয়াল প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। কথ্যভাষায় সাধারনত 'ডাক্তার' বলা হয়। এটি সাধারণ ডাক্তার বোঝায়, সার্জন নয়।
