Usage Notes (Japanese)
学問としての“philosophy”は「哲学を学ぶ」や「哲学の授業」のように使われます。日常会話では「方針」や「考え方」という意味もあり（例: 'Our philosophy is to keep things simple.'）、“psychology”とは異なり、実用的な方針にも使えます。
