Definition

পরিমিতি মানে হলো কোনো আকৃতি বা এলাকার বাইরের প্রান্ত বা সীমারেখা। গণিতে, এটি একটি দ্বিমাত্রিক আকৃতির চারপাশের মোট দৈর্ঘ্য।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'calculate the perimeter' বা 'find the perimeter' গণিতে প্রচলিত। 'area' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না; 'perimeter' বাইরের সীমা বোঝায়, 'area' ভিতরের স্থান। নিরাপত্তা পদ্ধতিতেও 'perimeter' ব্যবহার হয়।
