「パネル」とは、表面の一部を成す平らな部品、操作や情報がある盤、または議論や審査のために選ばれた少人数のグループのことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「control panel」「solar panel」「discussion panel」などの表現がよく使われます。イベントやメディアではスピーカーのグループを指し、技術分野では物理的な盤や表面を示します。「board」とは意味が異なるので注意しましょう。
