Bir şeye karşı çıkmak veya karşı koymak ya da özellikle siyasette karşı tarafı temsil eden grup veya kişiler.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle siyasi anlamda 'muhalefet' olarak kullanılır, ayrıca genel karşı çıkma için de geçerlidir. 'in opposition to', 'face opposition' gibi ifadelerde sıkça geçer. Dostça rekabet ifade etmez.
