人や場所、物に付けられている呼び名や識別するための言葉のことです。特定の人や物を指し示すことができます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'names'は「name」の複数形です。「first names」「by name」「call someone names（悪口を言う）」などのフレーズでよく使われます。多くの場合、実際の名前を指します。

Examples

I wrote the students' names on the board.

生徒たちの**名前**を黒板に書きました。

Their names are Anna and Luis.
