Definition

진흙이 묻었거나 진흙처럼 탁한 상태를 말한다. 또한 소리나 설명이 불분명할 때도 쓴다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 신발, 길, 들판 등 실질적으로 진흙이 묻었을 때 쓴다. 그러나 소리, 색깔, 설명이 불분명할 때도 사용. 'muddy boots', 'muddy water', 'muddy meaning'과 같이 자주 등장한다. 공식적인 글에서는 물리적인 뜻에만 씀.
