Definition

鏡は、通常ガラスでできており、光を反射して自分の姿を見ることができる物です。また、何かを正確に写し出したり、似せたりする意味もあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'look in the mirror'は「鏡で見る」という意味。'bathroom mirror'は洗面所の鏡、'rear-view mirror'は車のバックミラー。動詞の場合は「反映する」「真似る」という意味で使われます。同じくガラスや窓とは区別してください。
