Definition

製粉所は穀物を粉にする場所や機械を指します。また、綿や鉄、紙などの材料を加工する工場の意味でも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

昔ながらの意味では「windmill」「watermill」のように穀物を挽く場所。現代では「paper mill」「steel mill」のような工場全般も指します。「mill」を動詞と混同しないよう注意しましょう。
