Definition

কোনো কিছুর কেন্দ্রস্থল বা মাঝখান বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণভাবে কোনো ঘটনা বা পরিবেশের মাঝামাঝি অবস্থান বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Midst' সাধারণত লিখিত ও আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। ‘in the midst of’ দিয়ে নাটকীয় বা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিস্থিতি বোঝাতে হয়; ‘middle’ এর চেয়ে বেশি সাহিত্যিক।
