“mattered” in Bengali
Definition
কোনো কিছু পূর্বে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বা বিশেষ অর্থবহ ছিল বলে বোঝায়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
সব ধরনের কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহৃত হয়; প্রায়ই 'to' দিয়ে ('it mattered to me') আসে। সাধারণত নেতিবাচক রূপেও ('it didn't matter') ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Examples
It mattered to her that you came to the party.
তুমি পার্টিতে এসেছো, এটা তার কাছে **গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ছিল**।
