주로 음식에서 사용되며, 재료를 눌러 부드럽고 곱게 만든 상태를 뜻합니다. 음식 외에도 완전히 뭉개지거나 부서진 상태를 나타낼 때도 씁니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'mashed potatoes', 'mashed banana'처럼 음식 이름 앞에 주로 붙입니다. 음식이 아닐 때는 구어적으로, 상황이 informal할 때 더 자연스럽습니다.
