Definition

主に食べ物を押しつぶしてなめらかにした状態、特にじゃがいもなどによく使われます。また、物がつぶれたり壊れたりしたときにも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

食べ物の場合『マッシュポテト』や『つぶしたバナナ』のように使われます。食べ物以外で使うとややカジュアルな響きになります。
