'Making' هو صيغة الـ gerund للفعل 'make'. يُستخدم كثيرًا في المحادثات اليومية والكتابات. عبارات شائعة مثل 'making a decision' (اتخاذ قرار)، 'making money' (كسب المال)، و'making a mistake' (ارتكاب خطأ). لا تخلطه مع 'doing' الذي هو أكثر عمومية.
