Definition

‘look’의 과거형으로, 무언가를 쳐다보거나 눈으로 찾았을 때 사용한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

과거에만 사용된다. 'looked at'(~을 봤다), 'looked for'(~을 찾았다), 'looked like'(~처럼 보였다)과 같이 쓰인다. 'watched'나 'saw'와 혼동하지 않도록 주의.
