Definition

経度は、地球上の地点が本初子午線から東西にどれだけ離れているかを度で示したものです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に地理や航海、地図の読み方で使われ、『latitude（緯度）』とセットで使うことが多いです。度数で表記されます（例： '45°E 経度'）。長さや時間とは無関係です。
