어떤 것의 길이나 기간이 다른 것보다 더 길거나 오래됨을 나타낼 때 사용합니다. 길이 또는 시간 모두에 쓸 수 있습니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'longer'는 'long'의 비교급이므로 'than'과 함께 비교에 사용합니다('This is longer than that'처럼). 시간, 길이, 머리 등 다양하게 쓸 수 있으며, 'more long'은 사용하지 않습니다. 'no longer'는 '더 이상 아니다'라는 뜻이에요.
