Definition
Las líneas son marcas o trazos largos y estrechos. La palabra también puede referirse a filas de personas esperando, cuerdas o cables, o fragmentos breves de texto o diálogo.

Es un sustantivo muy común con varios sentidos. Expresiones frecuentes: 'draw lines', 'wait in line', 'read between the lines' y 'learn your lines'. En inglés americano, 'line' es más común que 'queue' para hablar de gente esperando.
