Definition

レタスは、シャキシャキした葉を持つ緑黄色野菜で、主にサラダやサンドイッチに使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「レタス」は基本的に生で食べられます。「レタスの葉」や「レタス1株」などの表現に使います。「キャベツ」とは別の野菜なので注意しましょう。調理して食べることは少ないです。
