「lend」の過去形。何かを一時的に相手に渡し、後で返してもらうことを期待すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

フォーマル・インフォーマル両方で使う。'lent money'（お金を貸す）、'lent a hand'（手を貸す）など。'borrow'（借りる）と混同しないよう注意。'lent'は必ず“与える”側。比喩的な表現でも使う。
