Definition

هي قياس مدى امتداد الشيء من طرف إلى آخر. ويمكن أن تعني أيضًا مقدار الوقت الذي يستمر فيه شيء ما.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستخدم كثيرًا في القياسات: 'the length of the table' و 'two meters in length'. وللوقت تظهر في عبارات مثل 'movie length' أو 'the length of the meeting'. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'width' أو 'height'.
