複数の道路や線路、道などが交差し合う場所。また、物事が結びつくポイントも指す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に交通（道路や鉄道）や科学技術分野で使われます。日常では「ロードジャンクション」「鉄道ジャンクション」などで聞かれます。小さい家庭内の結合には使いません。「intersection」は道路限定、「connection」はもっと広い意味です。
