「jump（ジャンプ）」の過去形。足で地面から飛び上がる動作や、驚き・恐怖・急な動きにも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

‘jumped over’, ‘jumped into’, ‘jumped up’, ‘prices jumped’のように幅広く使われる。「leaped」はフォーマルや詩的表現で使われることが多い。
