“intercept” in Bengali
Definition
কাউকে বা কিছুকে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানোর আগে থামানো, আটকানো বা বাধা দেওয়া। সাধারণত খেলা, আইনশৃঙ্খলা বা সামরিক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
ফরমাল বা টেকনিক্যাল প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন খেলায় 'intercept a pass' অর্থ 'পাস কেড়ে নেওয়া', আইনশৃঙ্খলায় বা সামরিক কাজে। 'interrupt' বা 'interfere' শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
