Definition

الـ intention هي خطة أو هدف أو رغبة في القيام بشيء ما. ويمكن أن تعني أيضًا الفكرة أو القصد وراء فعلٍ ما، حتى لو كانت النتيجة مختلفة.

من التراكيب الشائعة: 'have no intention of doing something' و 'with the intention of' و 'good intentions'. هذه الكلمة أكثر رسمية قليلًا من 'plan'، وغالبًا ما تركّز على الغرض أو الدافع لا على الفعل المستقبلي فقط.
