Definition

কোনো কিছুর শক্তি, ক্ষমতা বা চরমতা, যেমন আলো, অনুভূতি বা কার্যকলাপ। এটি কোনো কিছুর কতটা শক্তিশালী বা চরম তা বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Intensity' বৈজ্ঞানিক (আলো বা শব্দের তীব্রতা) এবং দৈনন্দিন (আবেগ বা ব্যায়ামের তীব্রতা) দুই ক্ষেত্রেই ব্যবহৃত হয়। শুধুমাত্র শক্তি বা প্রবলতা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, সংখ্যা, পরিমাণ বা আকার বোঝাতে নয়। সাধারণত 'high intensity', 'low intensity' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
