উপাদান মানে হল কোনো খাবার তৈরিতে ব্যবহৃত একটি নির্দিষ্ট দ্রব্য, অথবা কিছু বানাতে ব্যবহৃত যেকোনো উপকরণ।

খাবার তৈরির রেসিপিতে খুব বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়, তবে সাফল্যের জন্য অপরিহার্য উপাদান বলতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'main ingredient' মানে প্রধান উপাদান।
