産業とは、工場や企業で行われる生産活動や、映画、観光、テクノロジーなど特定のビジネス分野を指します。経済の一部門を意味する場合もあります。

'自動車産業'、'音楽業界'、'業界で働く'などの表現でよく使います。工場だけでなく、ビジネス分野全般にも使います。'工場'（ファクトリー）や、古い意味の'勤勉さ'とは区別してください。
