Definition
Bir olayın olacağına ya da bir durumun var olduğuna dair işaret veya fikir veren bilgi; bazen ne yapılacağına dair ipucu anlamında da kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Resmi ve bilimsel metinlerde sık görülür. Genellikle 'of' ile ('trouble belirtisi') veya 'belirti vermek/göstermek' şeklinde kullanılır. Tıbbi 'indication' (tedavi gerekliliği) ile karıştırılmamalı.
