إذا كان شيء ما مستحيلاً، فهذا يعني أنه لا يمكن فعله أو لا يمكن أن يحدث، أو أنه صعب جدًا على التصديق.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يُستخدم كثيرًا في تركيبَي 'it's impossible to...' و 'impossible for someone to...'. وقد يكون المعنى حرفيًا ('It's impossible to fly without a plane') أو فيه مبالغة/انفعال ('This homework is impossible'). ويُستعمل أيضًا لوصف الأشخاص: 'He's impossible' أي من الصعب جدًا التعامل معه.
