इसका मतलब है ऐसा इलाका जहाँ बहुत सारी छोटी-छोटी पहाड़ियाँ या उबड़-खाबड़ जमीन हो।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर भू-भाग या इलाके के लिए प्रयोग होता है। 'Hilly' का मतलब बहुत ऊँचे पहाड़ (mountainous) नहीं होता, बल्कि छोटी पहाड़ियाँ या टिलों वाला इलाका है। आम इस्तेमाल: 'hilly road', 'hilly region'.
