幸せや喜び、満足感をもって物事を行う様子。文脈によっては、心から進んで行う場合にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

よく 'smile happily', 'live happily' のように、どのように行うかを表します。'happily married' や 'happily agreed' の場合は、満足してや自発的にという意味も含みます。“Happily, ...” で始まる場合は「幸いに」などと訳されることもあります。
