جرذ الأرض هو حيوان صغير ذو فراء يعيش في أمريكا الشمالية ويحفر جحوراً في الأرض؛ يُعرف أيضًا باسم 'woodchuck'.

'جرذ الأرض' و 'woodchuck' اسمان لنفس الحيوان، ويشتهر بشكل خاص بيوم جرذ الأرض في الولايات المتحدة. لا تخلطه مع 'gopher' فهو نوع مختلف.
