땅은 우리가 서거나 걷는 지구의 단단한 표면입니다. 근거는 어떤 일의 이유나 바탕을 의미합니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

‘ground’는 실외의 자연스러운 표면을 가리키며 실내는 보통 ‘floor’를 사용합니다. 근거의 의미에서는 ‘on the grounds that...’, ‘have grounds for...’처럼 씁니다. 복수형 ‘grounds’도 많이 쓰입니다.
