Definition

এটি পৃথিবীর কঠিন পৃষ্ঠ, যেখানে আমরা দাঁড়াই বা হাঁটি। এছাড়াও কোনো কিছুর কারণ বা ভিত্তি বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘Ground’ সাধারণত বাইরের প্রাকৃতিক স্তরের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, ঘরের ভিতরের জন্য ‘floor’ ব্যবহৃত হয়। কারণ বোঝাতে 'on the grounds that...' বা 'grounds for...' বাগধারা ব্যবহৃত হয়।
