एक नरम, हरी पौधा जो बगीचों, पार्कों और खेतों में ज़मीन पर उगती है; आमतौर पर छोटे पौधों को कहते हैं जो हरी चटाई बनाते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Grass' आमतौर पर अनगिनत संज्ञा के रूप में इस्तेमाल होता है। 'A blade of grass' एक पत्ती के लिए है। आम वाक्यांश: 'cut the grass', 'the grass is greener'। 'Weed' (खरपतवार) या स्लैंग अर्थ ('informant' या 'marijuana') से न मिलाएं।
